Plaque Control for Cats Benefits

PLAQUE BUILD UP

Kelp is an iodine-rich ingredient known to: fight against plaque (tartar) build up, reduce gum disease, eliminate bad breath, prevent dental disease and maintain overall dental health.

⚠️ Not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

HEALTHY GUMS

Ascophyllum Nodosum, known as Norwegian Kelp, has natural anti-adhesive, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means by feeding daily, we can reduce levels of bacteria from sticking to the tooth enamel, loosen existing plaque and minimise tartar build up. It is used to help keep your cat’s teeth clean and reduce halitosis, (bad breath)!

FEATURES COCONUT

Plaque Control for Cats also features Coconut for its anti-microbial function. This ingredient helps to prevent the growth and spread of unwanted microbes as well as enhancing the flavour of our dental care supplement for cats.

MADE IN AUSTRALIA

This Australian made plaque off supplement for cats is designed for any age and breed of cat. Please note that this is not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

    Cat loves it!

The vet said my cat’s teeth were showing his age, so I knew I had to try something before having to fork out for a general anaesthetic to allow them to clean off the accumulating plaque. How easy it has been just to sprinkle this on his nightly food, and he loves it too! Bonus!

That's absolutely brilliant news, Trisha! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us and for leaving us such a wonderful 5-star review! We're happy to hear that our dental kelp for cats is working so well for your kitty and that he actually loves the taste too - what a fantastic bonus indeed!

It's wonderful that you were proactive about addressing your cat's dental health after your vet's observations. Taking preventative action is always so much better than waiting, and you've made a smart choice by trying our supplement before considering more invasive procedures like dental cleaning under general anaesthesia. We're absolutely delighted that your cat is enjoying his daily dose! When our pets actually love their supplements, it makes the whole routine so much simpler for pet parents like yourself. There's nothing better than knowing that taking care of his dental health is stress-free for both of you.

Your feedback about the ease of use and your cat's acceptance of the powder is exactly what we hope to achieve with our Plaque Control for Cats. We're so grateful that you've made it a trusted part of your cat's dental health journey! We'd love to hear how your kitty's dental health continues to progress in the months ahead. Please keep us updated and send us pictures or possibly videos of your cat flashing his big smile - we love hearing success stories like yours! ❤️

    Vet approved!

On a recent visit to the vet for annual check up I expected the usual' teeth are ok but a bit of tartar and chiken necks would help....speech. To my surprise he said both cats teeth were excellent, and I attribute this to Petz Parks Plaque Control.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us and for leaving us such an excellent 5-star review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your vet was so impressed with both your cats' teeth during their annual check-up.

What an amazing surprise that must have been when your vet said their teeth were excellent instead of the usual tartar lecture! There's no better validation than having a veterinary professional notice such positive results. Your feedback about attributing your cats' excellent dental health to our dental kelp for cats is exactly what we love to hear. Cats don’t mind it!

I haven’t noticed and major major improvement of their teeth, but think it may need more time! Good thing is cats don’t notice it in their food!

Two for two! Hi Alexandra! Thank you so much for this wonderful review of our dental kelp powder for cats! We're pleased to hear that your cats don't notice it in their food - that's a crucial factor when it comes to maintaining a consistent routine with our feline friends! It makes supplementing so much easier when they're happy to have it with their meals.

You're absolutely right that dental health improvements can take some time to become noticeable, especially with natural supplements. Plaque buildup occurs gradually, and the improvement process works in a similar manner - steadily and consistently over time. The fact that your cats are accepting it so well means you're setting them up for long-term success with their oral health!

We really appreciate your patience and commitment to your cats' dental wellness journey. Consistency is key with our plaque control supplement, and it sounds like you're doing everything right by keeping them on a regular routine. We have great faith that you'll soon see greater results, just like other pet parents have reported.

We'd love to hear continued updates on how your cats are doing as they continue with the supplement, so please keep us posted. We can't wait for your next update!❤️

    Leo is happy

On yearly chek up I was told that Leos teeth are yellow and gums red little bit that indicate inflamation even though he was eating without any problems. Vet rekomend cleaning in 6 months. I started Plaque control and after two months his teeth are good now and no reddness.

    So happy!

Its all part of the routine

My not so little maine coon kitten, Nova just has this in her food and happily eats it. Now I could say she just isn't all that fussy, but she doesnt gobble up her food as quick if its not in there. I'll keep adding this to her food to help her teeth and gums stay in good health. Yeah, she's a goofy girl.

FAQs

Absolutely! We made sure that all of our supplements can be used alongside each other without any problems.

Please follow the recommended dosage for each product that you use for optimal results.

You bet! Since all of our supplements are in powder form, we can use it in lots of different ways.

Try starting with just a pinch of powder in your cat's food and gradually build up to the recommended dosage over several days. Every day adding an extra pinch of powder.

You can also try scooping your supplement to your cat's bowl first and adding food on top.

Another suggestion is to try adding their favourite treat!

This varies from cat to cat. Some owners see results within a couple of days, others in a couple of weeks. A factor of this could depend on the severity of their issues; another could be the size of your cat.

Always allow 4-6 weeks before expecting to see improvements in your cat.

You can use a cat-specific toothbrush and toothpaste to clean plaque off a cat's teeth. Gently brush your cat's teeth in a circular motion, focusing on the gum line. Start slowly and gradually increase the duration of brushing sessions. To further improve cat dental health, you could use cat dental treats.

Dental disease in cats can lead to death. Untreated dental problems can lead to severe infections, pain, difficulty eating and other health complications. Regular cat dental care, including professional cleanings and at-home maintenance, is essential for maintaining a cat's oral health and overall well-being.

While some dog dental sticks may be safe for cats to consume, it is not recommended. Cats have different dietary needs and may not benefit from dog-specific dental products. Choose cat-specific dental care options like kelp powder for cats or dental sticks.
